Once again the 14th of February of another year has arrived and everyone is running around getting things for their special someone. But it's a down right shame that people wait for this one day or other "special" days to show someone that they love them. That should not be the case. It's not only on birthdays, anniversaries, valentine's days and other special occassions that love should be showed. What should happen is that more or extra love should be shown on those days because you've been showing love all year round.
It's nice to get Valentine's Day wishes and gifts but it should not be only on the 14th of February that these affections are shown. Just show the love 365 days a year and a little extra love on the special days.

My Transport Rant
N.B.: I believe everyone should be able to relate to some part of this.
The JUTC is the metropolitan public transportation system and the NTCS is the alternative (so to speak) of the JUTC. Now, the JUTC buses have their route/destinations displayed on their buses; the NTCS buses have to call their routes to the patrons because what is written on the bus may have been changed. But as for taxis and mini-buses driving in areas where persons know where the vehicles are travelling, why do they need to blow their horns and flash their lights constantly to try and get the patrons attentions? Are they too dumb to take a hint? If we wanted the bus/taxi, we would have flag it down from the initial sighting. Also taxi, in particular, have a nasty habit for subtly leading or pulling persons into their cars. This should not be so.
At NCU where we have a taxi queue, it's the same thing. We all know where the taxi are going (based on how they are parked) but yet, those going into Mandeville, in the queue are still hawking down students and faculty members to go into their cars. All I believe they need to do is just sit in their vehicles and wait for persons to get in it. Once the vehicle is loaded then leave. There's no need to hunt down passengers. We aren't animals that needs a sheep dog or a cattle dog. Lol. But seriously, I don't think they will change. I can only rant and rave for now.
